It’s Palm Sunday and the disciples have just retrieved two donkeys (ok, so they don’t look like donkeys yet. You’ll just have to use your imaginations

The kids read in Matthew’s account Jesus’ head was adorned with flowers, so Rachel (who was playing Jesus) got flowers put on her head.

Here come the two donkeys with Jesus (yes, definitely Matthean). “Jesus” was too embarrassed to ride them so she just walked beside- haha.

Ok, so this is all a very loose reenactment of the story, but the kids enjoyed it.
