Lately I’ve been teaching Sunday School at the church.
I think Elijah and Moses (who happen to be girls today) are laughing at the terrified looks of Peter, James, and John- lol.
After the drama, we talk about what the story means.
Then, the kids get a chance to draw.
Sometimes they draw the story, sometimes they draw something related to the story, and sometimes they decorate a memory verse I give them.
The kids scatter across the room to make their drawings. With only about 100 crayons for over 50 kids, sharing is a must.
Some of the littlest ones. Aren’t they adorable?
Mercy, Gloria, and Beverlyn proudly display their drawings.
Now it’s time for some music. The kids love to sing. I’ve been teaching them some songs I know, and they’ve been teaching me some of their songs.
Clapping along to the music (how very un-Lutheran;-)
