Prayer Requests (02/17/09)

· Thanksgiving for safe and relatively easy travels, tears to express both sorrow and joy, thousands of beautiful memories of my time in PNG, friends all over the world and the love they have showered on me, music, prayers and little reminders of God’s faithfulness.

· For God’s presence as I now re-engage in life in the States and begin the next chapters in my life—namely finishing the Deaconess program, serving as Associate Director for a summer camp in St. Louis, and beginning my Masters in Social Work at Washington University in the fall.

· That God may be at the center of this time of transition, both for me and for my community at Mambis. (Please especially pray for Anton and Liz as they continue their ministries in PNG)

· That God may teach and sustain me as I face the new challenge of reverse culture shock.

· That God may bring strength, peace and healing to the Lutz family, as Dr. Steve receives treatments for a brain tumor.

· That I and others may not fall into the trap of comparing ministries, but rather be inspired to action through the Holy Spirit to serve in the ministries to which God has called us.
